6 « Gondolo » espresso cups and saucers, Art Deco inspired design

Gondolo was a famous biscuit manufacturer in France from the late 19th century until the 1970s (and recently revived as a brand). These pretty pink cups and saucers were, I believe, promotional items. They date from the 1950s but have the style and essence of Depression-era glass from the 1930s. Today, they make perfect little espresso cups and saucers.The cups and saucers are in good vintage condition, with no chips or cracks. The name « Gondolo » is engraved in the glass at the base of each piece. The cups are just over 4 cm tall and have a diameter of 8 cm. The saucers are just under 11 cm in diameter. Together, the six cups and saucers have a total weight of 1.08 kg (excluding packaging).A superb « retro » coffee set to use at home, in the office, or as a gift.
